MAKEUP: Nail wraps

I've never used nail wraps before but saw these in Primark and I thought I'd try them out. There were 20 in the pack for 50p (total steal) and although the sizes were a bit off and they wrinkle a little when you put clear varnish on top, they still look really cute.

For anyone who finds them as much of an enigma as I did: you get a pack of different sizes and they work like some kind of sticker/transfer hybrid. You heat them a little to loosen the adhesive by rubbing them, peel the wrap off the sheet, place it on to your nail & then trim off and file the excess.

I'm not sure if it's the quality of these or down to my application, but I feel like they may have worked better on a base coat & despite a couple of layers of clear varnish, they're wearing off a little at the tips. I'll definitely be trying some others though.

There's tonnes of different brands & styles available, just a quick search and I found loads on ASOS, Boots, Superdrug, Topshop & eBay ranging from £1 to £10 but I'd definitely recommend getting some cheap ones first if you've never used them before.

I'm really keen to try the L'Oreal ones (5th clockwise from top), and WAH Nails have done a collaboration with Models Own which is just a dream come true.

I've also bought some nail art pens and I want to try nail pearls, so i'll be posting about those soon too!

Anyone else had any nail art adventures recently?
